Hanglo is operated by Deenice Store, Nairobi, Kenya. Contact: [email protected].
Two services. The Vault lets people share anonymous stories and lets readers vote, comment and give advice. The Hanglo app helps people find others nearby to meet in person, using coins as in-app credit. Prices are listed on our services and pricing page.
You must be 18 or older. Share only what you have the right to share. Do not post anything that identifies a private person, threatens or harasses anyone, involves a minor, or breaks Kenyan law. We can remove any content and block any person from posting. Free stories are published automatically with phone numbers and M-Pesa codes removed; voice notes and screenshots submitted with a paid story are reviewed by our team before release.
The Hanglo app introduces people; it does not supervise meetups. Meet in public places and use your judgement. Coins locked for a meetup are returned after both people confirm they met, minus our 20% service fee. If someone does not show up, the penalty rules shown in the app apply.
Payments are made by M-Pesa through Paystack and appear as “Hanglo”. Services are digital and delivered immediately. Story unlocks (KES 30 / 50) are final once the content has been opened. Priority (KES 300) and VIP (KES 500) are refunded in full if we do not feature the story or send the advice within 7 days. Unused coins can be refunded on request within 7 days of purchase. Email us with your M-Pesa confirmation code to request a refund.
You keep ownership of your story. By posting it you allow us to publish it anonymously on Hanglo and to feature it in our own videos and social media posts, edited for length and to protect identities.
We do our best to keep Hanglo available and safe, but we provide it “as is”. We are not responsible for what other users do, on the platform or in person.
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. Kenyan law applies.
